I KNEW these recipes sounded familiar. Actually they're more than just familiar, they are exact twins of the first set of recipes in a previous book still for sale on Amazon.Why do we need to keep paying for the same recipes over and over and over? Do repeat books make better food when the recipes are exactly the same? Makes no sense to me.
The first version of this book with the same recipes was under the name of "Terri Smitheen" who published it through Encore Publishing on 1-20-2014.
And here it comes again,the same recipes but a new fake author "Kelly Kombs" with a different cover but exactly ALL the same recipes and the exact same explanation of what dumplings are. This time the date is 11-25-2014, some 10 months later.
At least they have new dumplings even if the recipes are old and repeated for no GOOD reason. Surely there are new ones on the Internet they could have found if they weren't so lazy.

This ebook has a lot of good recipes. I wish that there were some pictures so I could compare what I made to the recipe. There is no guide for substitutions of ingredients or where to find uncommon ingredients.
These little cookbooks put out by The Ultimate Guide are great! The fact that I have so many to refer to, or just get ideas for new favorites is awesome. I always look for them from Encore to get them free the first days they are released.
The recipes are good. The directions are easy. And the ingredients are available. I have totally geeked out on these Greek recipes. Yum! If you like Greek food this is an excellent book to add to you collection. I have really enjoyed it, and the price was right.
I expected more from the book, as I married a partial Greek guy. Most of the recipes' names lead with Greek this, Greek that... I would just like to see the Greek food names that I know, the only one I really got out of it wasn't named it's name - Saganaki - I forget what they call it but I knew what it was and can't wait to try that one, now that I know what kind of cheese it is, and if I can find it. quite underwhelming
The very first recipe is missing an ingredient or contained an edited instruction that was left “2Tbsp thinly sliced___???” Couldn’t extrapolate from recipe instructions what was missing.
I did like that there were some untraditional stuffing recipes offered. Gets my imagination stirring about what else would work well in this form.

Each recipe starts out with Prep, cook time, complete time and servings.
Ingredients and how to make the dish. There is no nutritional information and no pictures.
List of ingredients are not always on the healthy side and some things you can't substitute for a healthier option.
The various dumpling recipes themselves can be done with a healthy choice.
Sweet taste dumpling or herb inspired dumplings would be my choice.
Authors other works have a clickable link at the end.
From the ingredient list it looks as if this would be a good cookbook but the instructions are not good. I could, maybe, be able to figure out what to do if there were pics but, sadly, none. A few of the recipes, the ones using wonton wrappers were better explained but I'll be deleting this from my library.
